Complimentary Cancer Care

Sandra J Wing Foundationhttp://www.healingtherapiesfoundation.org/.  This wonderful foundation provides grants of $500 to individuals living in the Tri-Valley area undergoing cancer treatment.  The grant can be used for massage therapy, acupuncture, guided imagery and healing touch.  Services can be rendered with any of the listed providers.  

MEND After Cancer, https://mendafter.com/.  This national a wedding-like registry for individuals with cancer.  Family and friends can use the site to purchase wonderful healing gifts and also to purchase services for complementary therapy and exercise programming.

Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic, https://www.charlottemaxwell.org/.  CMCC is a clinic in Oakland, consisting of female practitioners serving low-income women with cancer.  Services include massage, acupuncture, Western and Eastern herbology, social and psychological services.

Cancer Support Community, http://www.cancersupportcommunity.net/.  The CSC offers support groups, social, psychological and financial services to cancer patients and their family members, as well as classes in yoga, exercise, art, nutrition and much, much more.  This is an amazing location, full of resources that add to vitality of those living with cancer.
